The book comes in a nice box set along with a deck of rune cards. The cards are beautiful, though I personally prefer using my own handmade rune stones, as you should feel a deep connection to your runes. However, for those just starting out, these cards are incredibly useful, especially while you're still learning the meaning of each rune.

The book itself clearly explains everything you need to know about the meaning of the runes, their origins, and finally, how to use and interpret them. This set teaches you everything you need to know about runes before you start mastering the art of divination. Of course, you'll only truly learn to uncover the secrets of the runes through practice.

The Wyrd rune (the blank rune) is omitted, which some recognize as a rune while others consider it a modern invention. It's easy to add to the deck, though, as the set includes two blank cards.

Wyrd - Fate: This rune isn't tied to any gods, animals, or plants. It points to the fate we have but aren't meant to know, so we don't try to change it. It can signify a fateful change or even death. But you'll only understand it all once your fate is fulfilled.

Knížka je se sadou runových karet zabalena v pěkné kazetě. Karty jsou hezké, i když já osobně raději používám vlastnoručně vyrobené runové kameny, protože člověk má být se svými runami spjat co největším poutem. Ale pro ty, co s runami teprve začínají, budou karty jen k užitku. Hlavně než se naučí význam jednotlivých run.

V knížce samotné je přehledně vysvětleno vše důležité o významu run, jejich původu a v závěru i o použití a výkladu. Celá sada vás naučí vše, co potřebujete vědět o runách, než si začnete osvojovat samotné věštění. I když správně odhalovat tajemství run se naučíte až praxí.

Je zde vynechána runa Wyrd (prázdná runa), která je některými uznávána jako runa a někteří ji považují za výmysl moderního věštění. Ale v kartách jde snadno doplnit, protože balíček obsahuje dvě prázdné karty.

Wyrd - osud: runa není spjatá s bohy, zvířaty nebo rostlinami. Naznačuje osud, který máme, ale nesmíme ho znát, abychom se ho nepokoušeli změnit. Může značit osudovou změnu i smrt. Ale vše se člověk dozví, až když se osud naplní.
