The Lord of the Rings LCG: The Blood of Gondor

I wrote my review of the game itself for the core set.

Lore: 70% Spurred on by the successful capture of Osgiliath, Boromir sends his brother along with your heroes on a punitive expedition into Ithilien. However, the Morgul Orcs are ready, and the group falls into a trap. Faramir is a welcome addition to the game, though the enemies are a recurring theme.

Player cards: 75% Caldara is a great hero around whom you can build some interesting decks. The rest of the cards are similar to others from this cycle—i.e., Gondor, rangers, etc.

Scenario: 90% The main mechanism of the encounter deck is harassing players with hidden cards. This element can truly complicate everything you do in a brutal way. A really tough scenario with an interesting mechanic.

Verdict: 80% A pretty nice expansion, both in terms of player cards and the scenario. You'll definitely remember this one for a long time.

Hodnocení samotné hry jsem napsal k základnímu setu.

Lore: 70% Vyburcován úspěšným dobytím Osgiliathu pošle Boromir svého bratra spolu s vašimi hrdiny na trestnou výpravu do Ithilienu. Morgulští skřeti jsou ovšem připraveni a skupinka padne do pasti. Faramir při hře potěší, nepřátelé jsou znovu opakující se téma.

Player cards: 75% Caldara je skvělý hrdinka, na které se dají postavit zajímavé balíky. Zbytek karet je obdobný ostatním kartám z tohoto cyklu - tj. Gondor, rangers atd.

Scenario: 90% Hlavní mechanismus encounter decku je obtěžování hráču hidden kartami. A tento prvek dokáže skutečně brutálním způsobem zkomplikovat vše co děláte. Opravdu těžký scénář se zajímavým mechanismem.

Závěr: 80% Poměrně hezké rozšíření, jak co se hráčských karet týče, tak scénářem. Minimálně si ho budete dlouho pamatovat.
