The core set itself serves only as an introduction to the game rules. To get the full experience, buying additional ships is practically essential. Whether you plan to play as one faction or are picking up ships for two players, it's worth buying two of these sets – for the price of 2-3 ships, you get extra dice, a set of maneuver templates, and a damage deck for the second player.

With the release of The Force Awakens, it's better to buy the newer The Force Awakens core set instead of a second original one. It includes updated damage cards required for tournament play, as well as different pilot and upgrade cards.

Výborná hra, z prvu jednoduchá, ale s příbývajícím množstvím rozšířeních narůstá množství pravidel a kombinací lodí s kartami vylepšení. Díky nim je znovuhratelnost prakticky neomezená.

Základní set samotný lze brát jen jako úvodní představení a seznámení s herními pravidly. Pro plnohodnotné hraní je prakticky nezbytné dokoupit další lodě. Ať již plánujete hrát za jednu frakci nebo pořizujete loďe pro 2 hráče, je výhodné pořídit tyto sety 2 - za cenu 2-3 lodí máte navíc kostky, sadu manévrovacích šablon a balíček karet poškození pro druhého hráče.

S vydáním The Force Awakens je lepší místo druhého setu dokupit novější The Force Awakens. Obsahuje aktualizované karty poškození, které jsou nutné pro turnajové hraní a jiné karty pilotů a vylepšení.

An awesome tactical game for two players with beautiful models. I recommend buying it together with the Force Awakens Core Set. If only for the new models from the new episode, adjusted rules, updated damage cards, and especially the second set of dice, which will definitely come in handy (though you can buy extra dice separately). The Core Set is perfect for testing whether you'll enjoy the game. If you do, there are plenty of expansions available to really spice up your gameplay.

Parádní taktická hra pro dva hráče s krásnými modely. Doporučuji koupit dohromady s Force Awakens Core Setem. Už jen kvůli novým modelům z nové epizody, upraveným pravidlům, aktualizovaným kartám poškození a hlavně druhému setu kostek, který se bude určitě hodit (kostky lze ale dokoupit i zvlášť). Core Set je ideální na zkoušku, zda vás hra bude bavit. Pokud ano, tak je k dispozici velké množství rozšíření, která hru značně oživí.

Great game with very simple rules, even if they might not seem like it at first glance. The models are beautifully crafted, though they are a bit fragile. The downside is the English language and the expensive expansions, without which you might get bored after a few games with the base set.

Skvělá hra, pravidla velice jednoduchá i když při prvním přečtením to nemusí tak vypadat, modely jsou nádherně vyrobeny, jenom jsou trošku víc křehký. Nevýhodou je angličtina a dražší rozšířený hry bez něhož by po par hrách se základní sadou mohl začít nudit.
