SW: X-Wing is a fantastic game that builds on the Wings of War system. The miniatures are amazing! The Force Awakens expansion adds heroes from the newer movies.

A newer core set for X-Wing. Just like with the original, you get a complete set of components needed to play, all with the same high quality as before. I recommend combining it with the original set. You'll get enough ships to really get a feel for the game right from the start, and having a second set of dice and other components always comes in handy.

Novější základní set pro X-Wing, stejně jako u původního dostanete kompletní sadu komponentu potřebnou pro hraní, vše má stejně vysokou kvalitu jako dříve. Doporučil bych zkombinovat s původním setem, získáte tak do začátku dostatek lodí abyste si hru pořádně osahali, a i druhá sada kostek a dalších komponent se hodí.

I highly recommend this, and not just to Star Wars fans. It's my first game of this kind and I'm thrilled. After just two games, it was clear to me that I wouldn't stop with just this core set, so I immediately ordered two more expansions. :-) And I have a feeling I'll keep going. :-) Either way, the core set is enough to get some great flying in and really enjoy it. The game is truly well-designed, the rules are clear, and the miniatures are absolutely amazing.

Vřele doporučuji nejen fanouškům Star Wars. Je to moje první hra tohoto druhu a jsem nadšený. Už po prvních dvou hrách mi bylo jasné, že u této základní sady nezůstane a hned jsem objednal další dvě rozšíření. :-) A mám pocit, že budu pokračovat :-) Každopádně základní sada stačí na to, aby si člověk pěkně zalétal a užil si to. Hra je opravdu vydařená, pravidla jasná a miniatury jsou naprosto úžasný.

A slightly refreshed foundation for the X-wing miniatures game. Beyond the ships (a T-70 X-wing and two TIE/fo Fighters), their pilots, and gear from the latest trilogy, it mainly introduces new damage cards. Otherwise, it remains just as high-quality in design (the wing mechanism on the X-wing is simply divine) and just as fun to play as the original core set. However, if I had to choose between the older one and this, I'm picking Force Awakens.

Lehce oprášený základ pro X-wing miniaturovku. Krom lodiček (T-70 X-wing a dva TIE/fo Fightery) jejich pilotů a vybavení z nejnovější trilogie přináší hlavně nové karty poškození. Jinak pořád provedením stejně kvalitní (design křídel u X-wingu je prostě boží) a hratelností stejně zábavné jako původní core set. Nicméně pokud bych měl vybírat mezí tím starším a tímto, tak beru Force Awakens.

A great game for those who don't want to or don't have the patience to paint miniatures. Just unbox, read the rules, and play. The models are made of fairly hard plastic, and even the laser cannons on the T-70 X-wing are quite sturdy. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to play a Star Wars-themed board game.

Super hra pro lidi, kteří nechtějí nebo nemají trpělivost na barvení figurek. Prostě rozbalíte, přečtete si pravidla a hrajete. Modely jsou z poměrně tvrdého plastu a i laser kanony na T-70 X-wing jsou celkem tvrdé. Vřele doporučuji každému, kdo si chce zahrát deskovku s motivy Star Wars.

An excellent strategy game for two players. The box contains everything you need to play, including 3 missions to spice up your standard games. The Star Wars starfighter models look truly amazing. The game atmosphere is fantastic. It's definitely worth picking up an expansion or two. After a while, you'll realize that 3 starfighters aren't enough to fully unlock the game's potential.

Výborná strategická hra pro dva hráče. Balení obsahuje vše potřebné ke hře a to včetně 3 misí, které slouží ke zpestření standardní hry. Modely stíhaček ze světa Star Wars jsou opravdu velmi povedené. Atmosféra hry je tak parádní. Určitě se vyplatí koupit i nějaké to rozšíření. Po určité době přeci jen zjistíte, že 3 stíhačky jsou pro plné využití potenciálu této hry málo.

This new core set brings ships from the latest Star Wars movies, a new damage deck for tournament play, and new asteroids. Otherwise, the contents are nearly identical to the original core set, though the rules are now split into two booklets. The new starfighters are great to play with and the models look awesome. Poe Dameron is definitely a standout pilot. This starter set is an excellent way to get into the game and offers great value for money. If you get hooked, picking up a second core set is a smart move for the extra models, dice, and movement and range templates.

Nový core set přinášející lodě z nových filmových Star Wars, rovněž je tu nový balíček poškození, který se bude používat na turnajích, a jsou tu nové asteroidy jinak je balení téměř shodné s původním core setem, jen pravidla jsou teď rozdělena do dvou knížeček. Nové stíhačky jsou dobře hratelné a modely vypadají parádně. Z pilotů určitě zaujme Poe Dameron. Základní set je výborný způsob jak se dostat do hry, navíc nabízí dobrý poměr cena/obsah, pokud vás hra víc chytne je určitě dobré přikoupit ještě jeden core set, ať už kvůli modelům tak i kostkám a šablonám pohybu a střelby.
