Star Trek: Catan brings the world of Star Trek to the classic Catan gameplay. You start with two small outposts in the space between three planets, each producing resources based on dice rolls. Mine and trade dilithium, tritanium, food, oxygen, and water. Build starships to expand your territory and establish more outposts and upgraded starbases. A new feature compared to classic Catan is the set of support cards featuring iconic Star Trek characters, which grant special abilities and help you score victory points.

If you roll a 7, the Klingons arrive and disrupt resource production on one of the planets by taxing those holding too many resources.
