Star Realms: Crisis - Events

An interesting addition to the Star Realms family. Event cards get shuffled into the trade deck; once they enter play, they trigger immediately, helping or hindering both you and your opponents.

Zajímavý přírustek do rodiny star realms. Karty eventů se zamýchají do balíčku obchodu a když přijdou do hry okamžitě se vyhodnotí a pomohou/uškodí vám i spoluhráči.

Another small expansion for the fantastic deck-building game Star Realms. Probably my favorite one so far. It adds 12 event cards to the game that trigger as soon as they hit the trade row, affecting both players.

While the intergalactic event expansion adds a bit more randomness to the game, it’s definitely a welcome enrichment. These so-called Events are shuffled into the deck with ships and bases, and their effects trigger as soon as they hit the trade row. They can significantly impact the game as a whole (e.g., a Supernova scraps everything in the trade row) or favor one player over another. Most of the time, however, they are fair to everyone involved.

Note: We play in English, so some terms in this review might not be translated correctly (players often create their own terminology blending Czech and English).

Rozšíření v podobě intergalaktických událostí sice vnáší do hry o trochu více náhody, ale rozhodně je příznivým obohacením partie. Tzv. Události se zamíchají do hromádky s loděmi a základnami a jejich efekt se projeví okamžitě poté, co vstoupí na tržiště. Dokážou výrazně ovlivnit hru jako celek (např. Supernova scrapuje vše na tržišti), nebo zvýhodnit jednoho či druhého hráče. Většinou jsou však spravedlivé pro všechny zúčastněné.

Pozn.: Hrajeme anglicky, proto v recenzi nemusí být některé termíny přeloženy správně (hráči si často vytvoří vlastní názvosloví na pomezí češtiny a angličtiny).

It adds a new card type - events that trigger as soon as they are drawn, providing a bonus, penalty, or challenge for both sides. It's an interesting twist.

Pridáva nový tip kariet - udalosti, ktoré sa vyhodnotia hneď ako sa potiahnu a dávajú výhodu/postih/výzvu pre obe strany. Je to zaujímavé spestrenie.
