The Shallow Ones deck features animated illustrations of cute Cthulhu monsters by artist John Kovalic (who also illustrated games like Munchkin). Besides this set, there are many other themed Pairs decks available. Pairs: Shallow Ones also includes rules for the Monster variant, a gambling game for 4 to 8 players.
