With fake dreads, the rule is: the older (more worn) they are, the more natural they look. They are made using the crochet method. Each strand is backcombed and then manually crocheted with a fine hook until a solid dreadlock forms. It is then steamed with hot water to tighten the strand. You can wrap it around a stick or a wooden spoon and let it dry to create a wavy dreadlock.

The fake dreads are accented with kanekalon braids for extra flair. You can decorate the dreads with beads, wrap them with thread, etc.

How to care for your hairpiece - maintenance:

Simply pour hot water from a kettle over the entire hair tie to seal the dreads nicely. If a wavy dread straightens out, it's easy to fix. Just pour hot water over it, wrap it around a wooden spoon, and let it dry. You can also wash it in a washing machine on a delicate cycle (max 30°C) with a low spin speed about once every 6 months, depending on how often you wear it. Then, let it air dry.
