Liu Cixin

Liu Cixin (born 1963) is the leading figure of the new generation of Chinese sci-fi authors. He has won the prestigious Chinese Galaxy Award nine times, holds the title of Grandmaster of Chinese Science Fiction, and was the first Asian author in history to win the Hugo Award for Best Novel. His most famous work is The Three-Body Problem (2007), followed by the other two parts of the trilogy — The Dark Forest (2008) and Death's End (2010). The critically acclaimed Remembrance of Earth's Past trilogy has sold over eight million copies worldwide and has been translated into twenty languages.
