Why Legendary? A friend introduced me to this game, and I decided to add it to my collection. But why Villains? My girlfriend gave me the idea—why don't the bad guys ever win in the movies? I decided to buy this version so we could win as the villains for a change.

Compared to the base game, I have to praise the game board. It’s high quality, clearer, and more complete than the one in the original Legendary. There are tons of famous and lesser-known Marvel villains, each with unique abilities, and the familiar heroes standing against us. My only regret is that there is only one fully compatible expansion. You can combine it with others, but you’ll notice that not everything fits perfectly (Scheme Twist vs. Plot Twist, Commander Strike vs. Master Strike, etc.). Regardless, I’m really happy with the game and plan to keep expanding it despite this minor issue.

Proč Legendary? Na tuto hru mě přivedl kamarád a já rozhodl jsem se, že i svoji sbírku o tento kousek obohatím. Proč ale Villains? Na tento nápad mě zase přivedla poznámka přítelkyně - proč vlastně ve filmech nevyhrávají i ti záporní. Rozhodl jsem se proto pro koupi této verze, abychom za tyto záporáky mohli vyhrávat.

Oproti základní verzi musím pochválit hrací desku. Je velmi kvalitně provedena, je přehlednější a kompletnější, než u základního Legendary. Spousta známých i méně známých záporáků ze světa Marvelu, každý se svými jedinečnými schopnostmi a staří známí hrdinové, kteří stojí proti nám. Mrzí mě akorát, že plně kompatibilní přídavek je pouze jeden - i s ostatními se dá kombinovat, bohužel si člověk všimne, že né vše bude sedět (Scheme Twist vs. Plot Twist, Commander Strike vs. Master Strike apod.). Každopádně mám ze hry velkou radost a i přes tuhle maličkost si ji plánuji dále rozšiřovat.

Instead of a game board, you get a high-quality, beautiful playmat that's much easier to store and more durable. The base game comes with a huge number of cards, and the combinations are practically endless. There will definitely be plenty of expansions in the future. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Novější bratr deckbuildingové hry Legendary. V podstatě úplně stejná hra, vylepšená o pár věcí a zaměřená více na kompetitivní hru.

Místo herní desky je zde velmi kvalitní a hezká herní podložka, která je mnohem skladnější a víc vydrží. Se základní hrou příjde ohromné množství karet a kombinace jsou v podstatě nekonečné. V budoucnu bude určitě plno rozšíření. Určitě doporučuju minimálně vyzkoušet!
