The book is great and has a beautiful cover. Unlike the one in the photo, mine has a seam running across it, as if two pieces of leather were stitched together for the cover, but I really like it—it's original. The pages inside remind me of the paper sold at Luxor bookstores—yellow and marbled. They look nice, but I admit I expected something less smooth, or at least with torn edges instead of straight cuts. This is standard modern paper, and I expected a bit more of an antique feel for a leather-bound book. I want to write in it, but I'm a bit afraid of breaking the spine.

Kniha je povedená, má krásné desky. Na rozdíl od knihy na fotce mám tu svou s jakýmsi přešitím napříč, jako kdyby sešili dva kousky kůže na potah desky, ale mně se to moc líbí, je to originální. Listy uvnitř mi připomínají papíry prodávané v knihkupectví Luxor - žluté mramorované. Jsou hezké, ale přiznám se, že jsem očekávala něco méně hlazeného, nebo alespoň trochu utrhané kraje místo rovného řezu. Tohle je klasický dnešní papír a knize v kožených deskách bych očekávala o trošku víc starobylosti. Chci dovnitř psát a mám trochu strach ji lámat ve hřbetu.

So far I've ordered only four products: samurai trousers, a Witcher amulet, an antique silver chain, and this book. All were high quality, arrived quickly, and met my expectations.

But this book is definitely the best thing I've ordered... At this price, it's a really great buy, and I dare say not just for fantasy fans. A beautiful leather cover, sturdy binding, and even the strap that holds the pages together isn't made of cardboard but leather (that's truly top-tier craftsmanship). Every detail of this book is simply amazing; I couldn't find a single flaw.

The only thing that surprised me—though it doesn't concern the book itself—is the bookmark, which looks cheap compared to the rest of the book (a red polyester—I'm not sure about the material—ribbon). It slightly spoils the impression of an otherwise perfect book.

Do teraz som si objednal len štyri produkty, nohavice samuraj, amulet zaklínač, retiazku starostříbro a túto knihu. Všetky boli v dobrej kvalite, dorazili rýchlo a celkovo splnili požiadavky.

No táto kniha je určite najlepšie čo som objednal... Pri tejto cene je to naozaj dobrá kúpa a odvážim sa povedať, že nie len pre fanúšikov fantasy. Krásny kožený obal, pevné viazanie, dokoca aj ten pásik, ktorý drží listy po kope nieje z kartónu ale z kože (to je naozaj top úroveň spracovania). Proste každý detail tejto knihy je úžasný nenašiel som na nej ani jedinú chybičku.

Jediné čo ma prekvapilo a to sa netýka priamo knihy, je oproti zvyšku knihy lacno vyzerajúca záložka (červená polyesterová - materiálom si niesom istý - stuha). Tá mierne kazí dojem z inak dokonalého tela knihy.

The book was a gift, so I only held it for a short while. But the leather binding "breathes with the nostalgia of old times" :) The book would be even more beautiful if it had rougher paper instead of smooth marbled paper, ideally handmade... It would probably affect the price, but it would be nice to have the option to choose such a variant.

Kniha bola darček, mala som ju v rukách len krátko. Ale kožená väzba "dýcha nostalgiou starých čias" :) Kniha by bola ešte krajšia, keby mala namiesto hladkého mramorovaného papiera drsnejší, najlepšie ručný... Asi by sa to prejavilo aj na cene, ale bolo by príjemné môcť sa rozhodnúť aj pre takýto variant.

I ordered two books. One with 200 pages and the other with 300. When I unpacked them, I was surprised that the leather was black instead of brown like in the picture. But that didn't bother me at all, because when I opened them and saw those beautiful pages, each one unique, I was sold. They look like they're several years old yet perfectly preserved. They feel so mysterious, I can definitely recommend them.

Knížky jsem si objednala dvě. Jednu 200 listovou a druhou 300 listovou. Když jsem knihy rozbalila, překvapilo mě, že kůže je černá a ne hnědá jako na obrázku. Ale to mi nevadilo, protože když jsem knihy otevřela a viděla ty krásné stránky, každá originál. Vypadá jako několik let stará a přesto zachovalá. Působí tak tajemně, můžu rozhodně doporučit.

I completely agree with the previous reviews. The book is beautifully crafted, and the pages feel truly ancient and fragrant.

Naprosto souhlasím s předešlými hodnoceními. Kniha je krásně zpracovaná a stránky působí skutečně starobyle a voňavě.

I'm absolutely thrilled! I bought this book because I'm obsessed with the idea of writing a family chronicle. I wanted it to look stylish and "old." This was a bullseye. It looks like a century-old book full of history. It's gorgeous, and every single page is an original. I started writing last night and I've already filled half of it—and I thought I wouldn't know what to write! It's such a beautiful, mysterious feeling, especially when you write in it with ink and a quill like I do. ;) I recommend it to everyone who loves things like this.

Jsem naprosto nadšená! Knihu jsem zakoupila kvůli mé utkvělé myšlence sepsat rodinnou kroniku. A chtěla jsem, aby vypadala stylově a "staře". A tohle byla trefa do černého. Vypadá jako stoletá kniha plná historie. Je nádherná, stránka od stránky je originál. Začala jsem psát včera večer a už mám půlku popsanou - a to jsem myslela, že nebudu vědět co do ní psát. Je to velice krásný tajemný pocit, zvlášť, když jako já do ní píšete inkoustem a brkem. ;) Doporučuji všem, kteří mají rádi takovéto věci.

Kniha vypadá krásně.. Velmi příjemná kůže a listy vypadající několik desetiletí staré, výborné zpracování, rozhodně doporučuji!

The book arrived yesterday. It's gorgeous, every page is unique, and the binding is perfect. I'll definitely buy another one, but for now, I'm having trouble even writing anything in it.. ;)

Kniha dorazila včera. Je nádherná, každý list je jiný, vazba perfektní. Určitě si koupím další, ale zatím mám problém do ní vůbec něco napsat.. ;)
