A typical Japanese Kyusu teapot is the perfect companion for watching your favorite movie or series with a cup of tea! This black teapot makes an ideal gift for Japanese tea lovers - you can prepare any tea in it (though we recommend using Kyusu exclusively for green and delicate teas). The Kyusu Kuroshinju is crafted from traditional pottery clay and features a glossy finish. The underlying ore clay only peeks through the enamel at the very top rim. Inside the pot, there is a metal strainer that prevents tea leaves from getting into your cup while pouring.

This teapot comes from the Tokoname region. Tokoname is one of the six oldest traditional pottery production sites, located on Japan's Chita Peninsula.

The teapot is dishwasher safe.
