Description
Thirty years have passed since the Romans left Britain. The Picts and Scots are pushing deeper into the interior. The great chieftain Vortigern invited the Saxon brothers Hengist and Horsa to defend Britain. The brothers obliged, but over the years, Vortigern became greedy and stopped paying the Saxons… It is time to take matters into your own hands and claim what is rightfully yours!
In the 2-player card game Hengist, you compete for a shared treasure. Using cards and a bit of luck, you must first find the path, which is not always the right one. The player with the most valuable treasure wins.

I'm disappointed that Rosenberg put his name on such a half-baked product. The game feels neglected. It looks nice and the mechanics might even work, but essentially you just collect tons of cards and play them again. The game makes no sense at all; there's nothing in it that makes you want to play it again. Anyway, we'll come up with our own house rules, and the kids will enjoy it.
Mrzí mě, že Rosenberg je podepsaný pod takovým nedodělkem. Hra působí zanedbaným dojmem. Vypadá sice pěkně a mechaniky by mohly i fungovat, ale v podstatě jen sbíráte a sbíráte spoustu karet a zas je hrajete. Hra nedává vůbec žádný smysl, není v ní nic, co by stálo za další hraní. Každopádně doma vymyslíme svá pravidla a dětem se to bude líbit.
