Nothing is as matte as an Army Painter brush-on varnish, but this one is much better than Vallejo and, unlike AP, it doesn't leave streaks if you apply it carelessly.

Nic není tak matné jako lak na štětec od army painteru, ale tenhle je mnohem lepší než vallejo a nedělá narozdíl od AP takové fleky po neopatrném nanášení.

Works great, easy to apply, I use it for board game miniatures and the paint hasn't chipped off any of them yet.

Matte varnish that brushes on smoothly. The advantage over spray is that you apply it exactly where you want it.

Matný lak, dobře se roztírá štětcem. Výhoda oproti spreji, že nanesu jen tam, kde chci.

I've finally found a truly MATTE varnish, unlike what some others offer... I haven't used anything else for my miniatures since, except for gloss on weapons and specific parts. Satin just doesn't work for me. Thanks a lot :-) In the picture, you can see the balor Errtu in his natural habitat, with the snitch Druzil (that purple blob in the foreground :-)))))))) The matte finish really makes the figure pop, I'm absolutely satisfied... oh my, I apologize, I didn't finish the eyes, what a disaster :-))).

Konečně jsem našel opravdu MATNÝ lak, a ne jak někteří nabízejí ... od té doby nemaluji miniatury ničím jiným, tedy kromě lesku zbraní a určitých partií. Satin mně nějak nesedí. Moc děkuji :-) Na obrázku balor Errtu ve svém přirozeném prostředí, s práskačem Druzillem ( ten fialový flek v popředí :-)))))))) Matný nátěr jen zvýrazní figurku, jsem naprosto spokojen .... šmárja, omlouvám se, já nedomaloval oči, katastrofa :-))).

As the name suggests, this is truly ultra matte. In the photo, you can see a comparison between Vallejo's Matte Varnish on Gandalf and the Ultra Matte on the other figure. It really brings out every imperfection in the paint underneath—I blended two colors for the cloak, and it wasn't nearly as visible with my previous, less matte varnish. It's not exactly easy to apply evenly if you want to avoid a thick layer... It's nice, but I won't be using it as universally as I thought—while the Vallejo Matte doesn't quite work for me, I'll keep looking for other options.

Jak jiz nazev napovida, je to opravdu ultra mat. Na fotce srovnani Mat Varnishe od Vallejo na Gandalfovi a Ultra mat na druhe postave. Jen to vytahne veskere nedokonalosti barev pod tim - na plasti jsem michala dve barvy pro prechod a s predchozim mene matnym lakem to videt tolik nebylo. Neni uplne lehke ho natrit opravdu rovnomerne, pokud se chce clovek vyhnout naneseni silne vrstvy... Je fajn, ale nebudu ho pouzivat tak univerzalne, jak jsem si myslela - sice mi nevyhovuje Mat od Vallejo, ale jeste budu hledat dal.
