Gloom (Second Edition)

The world of the card game Gloom is a dark, sad, and desolate place where the sky is gray, the tea is cold, and mischief awaits around every corner—think debts, diseases, broken hearts, or a pack of rabid, man-eating mice. In short, tragedy lurks everywhere.

In this game, you lead a family that feels a bit like the Addams family. Your goal is to drag your characters through all sorts of suffering before they finally meet their well-deserved end. Conversely, you'll try to make your opponents' characters as happy as possible, because the player whose family is in the worst shape at the end of the game wins.
