Escape Tales: The Awakening is a card game based on the escape room concept, but without the pressure of a time limit. The game focuses on story and exploration as you solve various puzzles and make tough decisions.

The gripping story revolves around Sam, whose daughter has been in a coma for over two months. Doctors can't figure out why or how it happened; according to them, the girl is perfectly healthy and shouldn't be in this state at all.

Desperate for answers, Sam searches everywhere he can, leading him to a strange encounter with Mark. Mark once found himself in a similar situation with his own son. He gives Sam a sinister-looking book containing a ritual called "The Awakening".
