Dweghom

In the ancient times of the primordial ages, the mighty Dragons created the perfect race of servants. Tough, long-lived, loyal, and skilled. These ancestors of the Dweghom contributed perfectly to the wealth of the Dragons – they filled their hoards with their creations while building them dwellings and homes.

However, even among this race created for loyalty, there were rebellious and defiant ones who were banished to the depths of the underworld. There, they did not meet their end; instead, their anger and hatred led them to an ancient prisoner – War, the second horseman of the apocalypse. War bestowed her gifts upon these banished Dweghom, sealing the fate of the Dragons. The exiled Dweghom returned to the surface and slaughtered their loyal comrades and the dragons to the last one.

Yet, no race so consecrated by War finds peace and tranquility. There is no peace or true cooperation between the Holds of the Dweghom, only isolation – only when an enemy appears that threatens them all do some Holds unite and fight side by side. Until the enemy is defeated…
