Dungeons & Lasers: Dragon of Schmargonrog

I got this as a gift from my boyfriend and I was really thrilled with it. Aside from losing half of the head (it got sucked up and I had to dig through the trash to find it), everything went really well. Gluing the claws was a bit of a pain, but many parts fit together so perfectly that you can't even tell they weren't one piece from the start. I'm not a big fan of painting by the book, so I tried something different, and I think the gold and blue actually look really great together. Please ignore the dust on the photos—I was too lazy to clean it off and retake them.

The only imperfection is under the dragon's chin—there's a small gap where it didn't quite fit, but I'm not sure if that was on me or the pieces themselves.

Dostala jsem to jako dárek od přítele a byla jsem z toho opravdu nadšená. Krom toho, že jsem ztratila půlku hlavy (vysála ji a pak hledala v koši), tak vše šlo velmi dobře. Přilepování drápů byla docela bolest ale spousta věcí se sedla tak dobře, že nejde poznat, že nebyly v kuse už od začátku. Nemám moc ráda vybarvování podle předlohy, tak jsem zkusila něco jiného a myslím, že zlatá a modrá nakonec k sobě sedí strašně pěkně. Prosím nevšímejte si poprašku prachu na fotkách - byla jsem moc líná to umýt a udělat ty fotky znovu.

Jediná nedokonalost je pod bradou draka - je tam malá dírka, kde mi to nesedělo ale nevím jestli to bylo mnou nebo těmi dílky.

This dragon is awesome. It's super easy to assemble and looks stunning. Like all other Dungeons and Lasers sets, this one doesn't come with instructions. This is mainly to keep the price as low as possible, so the box contains nothing but the parts. But watch out, for the price, it's really high quality. It has tons of details, including a tiny helmet lying at its feet.

Be careful when assembling, though. The online guide will tell you to build the base in a specific order. That process isn't ideal, because if you glue certain parts together, the last one will be a tight fit. I recommend dry-fitting the base first before you start gluing.

Drak je to super. Skládá se hrozně jednoduše a vypadá nádherně. Jako všechny ostatní Dungeons and Lasers sady, i tenhle u sebe nemá návod. Je to hlavně z toho důvodu, aby sada byla co nejlevnější, takže krabice neobsahuje nic než díly. Pozor ale, za tu cenu je fakt kvalitní. Detailů na něm je fakt hodně, včetně třeba drobné helmy, co mu leží u nohou.

Při skládání ovšem opatrně. Návod online vám bude radit, ať základnu složíte podle určitého postupu. Ten postup není úplně dobrý, protože když slepíte určité díly, ten poslední tam pak půjde docela násilím. Nejprve doporučuji si základnu složit nanečisto a až pak lepit.

An amazingly detailed and high-quality figure from a manufacturer whose miniatures I will definitely order again. It's perfect for any RPG, and the mini-story on the box provides a great adventure hook. Highly recommended.

A beautiful piece for your dragon collection, inspired by the world of Epic NPC Man from Viva La Dirt League. I had no idea, and it was a pleasant surprise to find out Archon Studio made a figure of him.

The figure was easy to assemble with no issues at all. The assembly manual was included, unlike with other dragons I've bought, though you can find manuals on the Archon Studio website.

Krásný kousek do dračí sbírky, na motivy ze světa Epic NPC man od Viva La Dirt League, což jsem vůbec netušil a pobavilo mě zjištění, že mu Archon studio udělalo figurku.

Figurka byla snadno složená a nebyl s ničím problém, manuál pro složení byl uvnitř, na rozdíl od dalších draků co jsem pořídil, ale manuály se dají sehnat na stránkách Archon studia.

The dragon looks great. I painted it differently than the original, but that's standard practice. It fits my current campaign perfectly, and I'm a huge VLDL fan too.

Drak vypadá skvěle, já ho sice nabarvil jinak, než je originál, ale to je běžná situace. Do současné kampaně se hodí a zároveň jsem fanouškem VLDL.
