Dungeons & Lasers: Phoenix

Holy cow, that was a struggle...
A beautiful and seriously huge miniature, with a wingspan of about 30 cm.
Three tips:

1. Don't glue the whole figure together right away! There are spots you won't be able to reach with a brush later! (Underside of the tail, flames in the front, legs, flames on the head...)
   
2. Use a white primer so you don't end up with as many layers as I did, then start with yellow and layer it up gradually.
   
3. Do the feather gradient first, then use a cotton swab with nail polish remover to clean up the individual flames and paint them separately.

Krásná a fakt velká miniatura, rozpětí tak 30 čísel. Tři rady:

1. Nelepte celou figurku rovnou! Jsou místa, kam se pak štětcem nedostanete! (Spodek ocasu, plameny vepředu, nohy, plameny na hlavě...)
   
2. Berte to bílým primerem, ať nemáte tolik vrstev jako já, a pak začněte od žluté a postupně vrstvěte.
   
3. Nejdřív udělejte gradient peří, pak jednotlivé plameny vemte odlakovačem na tyčince do uší a nabarvěte samostatně.

A beautiful Phoenix miniature. As soon as I spotted it on Imago, I knew I had to have it in my collection :) The photo isn't perfect, but the miniature is truly large and packed with detail. Personally, I'm not a fan of the armor, so I won't be putting it on the model, but if you like it, it will definitely bring the piece to life.
I highly recommend it, just like other models from Archon Studio. I have two dragons and all the models are perfect. They are easy to assemble, you just need to use a bit more Tamiya Ultra Thin, as the plastic etches more slowly than Warhammer figures from Games Workshop. Alternatively, use Revell Contacta glue, which bonds this plastic more easily.

Překrásná miniatura Fénixe. Hned jak jsem ji na Imago objevil, musel jsem ji mít ve sbírce :) Fotka není ideální, ale miniatura je opravdu veliká a plná detailů. Osobně se mi brnění úplně nelíbí, proto ho na miniaturu dávat nebudu, ale komu se líbí určitě model oživí.
Doporučuji, stejně jako ostatní modely od ArchonStudio. Mám dva draky a všechny modely jsou perfektní. Snadno se kompletují, jen je potřeba dát větší množství Tamyia Ultra Thin, plast se leptá pomaleji než Warhammer figurky od Games Workshop. A nebo použijte lepidlo Contacta od Revell které tento plast lepí snáz.
