Doomtown: Reloaded

The return of a classic card game from its golden era. Alongside the massive hits like MtG, L5R, and VtES (which did reasonably well) and Netrunner (which, like Doomtown, was ahead of its time), this game belongs at the very top. It features 4 factions in the base set (up to 6 with expansions). It’s a great blend of poker and deck-building. Resolving shootouts with poker hands perfectly captures the feeling of building a town in the Wild, Weird West and fighting your opponents for dominance. The card quality is excellent. The box is more than generous. The LCG format is a blessing for some and a curse for others. Regardless, the card distribution is much more generous than what you get from FFG. Any necessary card errata are released as part of the expansions.

Návrat jedné z klasických karetek z jejich nejlepšího období. Vedle superúspěšného MtG, l5r a VtES (kterým se jakž takž dařilo) a Netrunneru (který podobně jako Doomtown předešel svou dobu) patří do naprosté špičky. V základu hra za 4 frakce (s rozšířeními až 6). Příjemné skloubení pokru a deckbuildingu. Řešení přestřelek pokrovým hraním báječně navyšuje feeling toho, že někde daleko na divokém a věru divném západě stavíte městečko a přetahujete se s protihráči o nadvládu. Velmi kvalitní provedení karet. Krabice víc než štědrá. Pro některé přínos, pro některé prokletí je LCG háv. Oproti FFG je každopádně distribuce karet mnohem štědřejší. V rámci rozšíření vychází i případné errata karet.

Shootouts are massive, involving an unlimited number of characters, and are resolved by the strength of the poker hand you manage to assemble with their help.

Přestřelky bývají velké, kdy se může účastnit neomezené množství charakterů a řeší se silou pokrové kombinace, kterou ste schopni za jejich pomoci poskládat.
