D&D Curse of Strahd Revamped

The whole set looks amazing and it has everything you need to DM Curse of Strahd.

However, I have one complaint. It's a real shame to include only a paperback adventure in such a luxurious set, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.

Celé balení vypadá úžasně a člověk tam má vše, co potřebuje pro DMování Curse of Straht.

Nicméně mám jednu výtku. Dát do takového luxusního balení pouze paperbackové dobrodružství je dost škoda, a proto dávám jen 4 hvězdy.

Beautiful packaging. Once you open the coffin, Strahd von Zarovich himself stares back at you, and if you flip his portrait over, you'll find his stat block on the back.
The Tarokka cards are excellently crafted with a silver-black background and come in the size of large tarot cards.

I will definitely be sending the postcards to my players during the campaign; the front features an image of a location from the campaign, while the back contains a description of that place.

The only downside to the entire set is that the storybook itself is a paperback, unlike the classic hardcover.

Tarokkové karty sú vo vynikajúcom prevedení, so strieborno čiernym pozadím, vo veľkosti veľkých tarotových kariet.

Pohľadnice budem jednoznačne zasielať hráčom počas kampane, vpredu je obrázok nejakého miesta z kampane a zozadu je zase popis k tomu miestu.

Jediná nevýhoda celého setu je, že samotná kniha s príbehom je paperback, na rozdiel od klasickej pevnej väzby.

A special edition for the best D&D 5e campaign ever released. The quality of the cards, maps, and letters is outstanding, and I highly recommend every DM to try this amazing adventure.

Špeciálna edícia pre najlepšiu kampaň aká kedy vyšla do dnd 5e. Práca na kartách, mapách či dopisoch a listoch je výborná a určite odporúčam každému dmovi aby skusil toto úžasné dobrodružstvo.

I loved the original Curse of Strahd, but I was hesitant about buying the revamped edition—it isn't exactly cheap. Once I received and unboxed it, all my doubts vanished. First off, the coffin-shaped box is huge and beautifully crafted, just like everything else in this set—the tarot cards are stunning, the postcards are funny, the DM screen is high-quality, the additional booklets are well-made, and the campaign itself is brilliant. I truly recommend this to every collector and D&D enthusiast.

Původní Curse of Strahd jsem miloval, ale váhal jsem jestli si mám revamped edici koupit, přeci jen není úplně levná. Když jsem ji obdržel a rozbalil, všechny mé pochyby byly tatam. Zaprvé, krabice ve tvaru rakve je obavská a nádherně zpracovaná, stejně jako vše ostatní v tomto balení-tarotové karty jsou nádherné, pohlednice vtipné, DM screen velmi kvalitní, přidané příručky dobře zpracované a samotná kampaň je skvělá. opravdu doporučuji každému sběrateli a fanšmekrovi přes DnD.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough stars here for my rating—5 just isn't enough. I knew what I was ordering and what I was buying, but once I tore open the packaging and took a look, the box alone blew me away. As I went deeper into the contents, it just kept getting better and better. The beautiful, high-quality, and ingenious craftsmanship is breathtaking. Simply put, if you don't have it, you won't understand.

Má hodnocení je tu bohužel málo hvězdiček, prostě 5 nestačí. Věděl jsem co objednávám a co kupuji, ale když jsem odtrhal balení a podíval se, tak jen samotná krabice mi vyrazila dech a jak jsem postupoval obsahem dál a dál bylo to čím dál lepší a lepší. Nádherně, kvalitně a důmyslně zpracování bere dech. Prostě kdo nemá nepochopí.

To say it's beautiful is an understatement. I was surprised by how big and heavy the coffin is. As soon as you open the box, you're greeted by Strahd's character sheet lying in the coffin, with his stats on the back. Everything else is underneath. It's all easy to remove because there's a ribbon at the bottom with the end sticking out. Just pull it, and you have the contents in your hands. The packaging doesn't disappoint; there's a ton of stuff in here. The book itself is a given, but you'll also find two additional ones: descriptions of enemies from this module and a guide for the tarot cards. There's also a DM screen and maps. Naturally, the tarot cards are included too. I was really pleased that printed letters and notes are included, which you can hand directly to your players to read. Last but not least, there are 4 types of postcards, 3 of each. You can use them to invite players to your game. I can't wait to play it. I definitely recommend it—it's a high-quality, rich edition!

Říci, že je to nádherné, je jako neříci nic. Byl jsem překvapený, jak velká a jak těžká ta rakev je. Jakmile krabici otevřete, přivítá vás hned nahoře sheet Strahda, jak leží v rakvi, zezadu jsou uvedeny jeho staty. Pod nim se nachází veškerý obsah. Vše je snadno vyjimatelný, jelikož vespod vždy leží stužka, konec které vyčuhuje. Stačí zatahat a obsah máte v rukou. Balení nezklame, věci je tu požehnáno. Samotná kniha je samozřejmosti, ale také tu najdete dvě dodatečné. Popisy nepřátel z tohoto modulu a taky příručka na tarotové karty. Dále je tu stěna pro DM a mapy. Samozřejmě samotné tarotové karty. Dost mě potěšilo i to, že jsou tu vytištěné dopisy a zápisky, které lze pak hráčům přímo dát přečíst. V neposlední řadě taky 4 druhy pohlednic, od každé 3 kusy. Dají se tak třeba poslat hráčům a pozvat je tak ke hře. Už se těším, až si to zahraji. Určitě mohu jen doporučit, je to kvalitní bohatá edice!

I was a bit disappointed with the screen; the art looks like the postcards and features secondary locations.

Nádherné zpracování, revidovaný příběh (měkká vazba), bestiář zvlášť (měkká vazba), tarotové karty (nutnost pro výklad), mapa a zástěna. Pohlednice jako pozvánky skvělý nápad.

U zásněny jsem byl trochu zklamaný, podobají se obrázkům z pohlednic a jde o vedlejší místa.
