Epic miniatures and simple rules—these are the main draws, and I have to say, they're justified.

On the other hand, the high price and strategic complexity, which requires keeping track of other players' options, can be a drawback. A new player can easily ruin the game for everyone else due to their lack of experience and accidentally hand someone the win.

The combat system also feels a bit off to me. Everything depends on the dice, so the outcomes of final battles can be quite absurd. There's also no balancing mechanism, so a player who has "bad luck" at the start might never recover.

I like the game, but it's the type that requires practice, which you can only really get with a regular group. I definitely don't recommend it for casual play.

Na druhou stranu ovšem vysoká cena, strategická náročnost spojená s nutností mít přehled o možnostech ostatních hráčů, takže nový hráč může zbytku hru celkem pokazit svou neznalostí a darovat někomu vítězství.

Soubojový systém mi taky přijde poněkud nevydařený. Vše záleží na kostkách a výsledky finálních bitev tak mohou být dosti absurdní. Také zde není žádný balanční mechanizmus a hráč, který měl na začátku "smůlu" už se nemusí vzpamatovat.

Hra se mi libí, ale jedná se o tip, který se musí natrénovat a to lze jen v pravidelném kolektivu. Pro příležitostné hraní ji určitě nedoporučuju.

The price is quite high, but once you reveal the "boss" miniatures, you see why. The size... However, they are made of some strange rubber, and I recommend opening the box in a well-ventilated room and washing the figures; the lubricant smells terrible. They also have prominent mold lines, so you'll need to fill them in before painting. What disappointed me were the paper faction sheets; because they slide around in the box, one side of every sheet was bent before I even opened the box. The design is a blast.

The gameplay is also great. Unlike the alternative (Chaos in the Old World), there is no luck here – there are no round-by-round restrictions, and there isn't a single card in the game, so you don't have to deal with "I can only play what I happened to draw." It is purely up to you how well you can strategize, think, understand the enemy's weaknesses, and use your own strengths. Each faction is completely different. The rules are simple, yet it's not easy to fully utilize all the possibilities the game offers.

Cena je hodně vysoká, ale jak odhalíte figurky "bossů", tak vidíte proč. Ta velikost... Ale jsou z nějaké divné gumy a doporučuji krabici otevírat v dobře větrané místnosti a figurky umýt, to mazivo strašně páchne. Taky mají výrazné mold lines, pro barvení bude potřeba je něčím vyplnit. Co mě zklamalo, jsou papírové Fraction sheets a tak, jak se to v krabici přelévá, tak se mi u všech ohla jedna strana ještě než jsem krabici vůbec otevřela. Design bomba.

Hratelnost je taky super. Na rozdíl od alternativy (Chaos in the Old world), tady není náhoda - nejsou zde žádná omezení na jedno kolo, ve hře není ani jedna karta, takže odpadá "můžu hrát jen to, co mi přišlo zrovna do ruky". Je to čistě jen na vás, jak umíte strategizovat, přemýšlet, pochopit slabiny nepřítele a využít vašich silných stránek. Každá frakce je úplně jiná. Pravidla jsou jednoduchá, ale přitom není lehké plně využít všech možností, které hra nabízí.
