I don't know how others handle this strainer, but ours has never come apart. Tea staining is completely normal and not a defect.
For us, it's a great strainer even for the finest tea blends, so I can easily recommend it.

Netuším jak jiní lidé zacházejí s tímto sítkem, ale nám se ještě nikdy nevyvléklo. Zabarvení od čajů je zcela normální a není na závadu.
Za nás je to skvělé sítko i na ty nejjemnější čajové směsi a proto mohu s klidem jen doporučit.

I'm very satisfied. It's really hard to find a strainer that filters out even the tiniest herb particles, which really bother me in my tea. I have an old one at home and I'm glad I have a backup in case it wears out. It's true that it changed color after the first use, but color isn't what matters—functionality is. A bamboo strainer barely catches any debris, so this one couldn't be better.

This strainer fits perfectly in the teapot. It's washable, but I prefer bamboo strainers as this one loses its white color over time.

Sítko se hodí do konvice. Dá se prát, ale preferuji bambusová sítka, časem ztratí bílou barvu.

A good strainer. The tea tastes really great. However, I have to point out a few downsides:

• the way it sits on the mug isn't well designed
  
• the cotton comes out easily, which caused the contents of the strainer to spill into the tea.

Dobré sítko. Čaj chutná opravdu skvěle. Akorát musím dát pár mínusů:

• není dobře vyřešené držení za hrnek
  
• bavlna lehce vypadne, tím pádem se nám stalo, že obsah sítka vyplaval ven do čaje.

A tea infuser that makes my herbs taste completely different, significantly better. In my opinion, it's better than metal, and even though I was a bit worried about cleaning it, it's surprisingly easy.

Sítko, za kterého mi bylinky chutnají úplně jinak, podstatně lépe. Dle mého názoru lepší než kov a i když jsem měl trochu obavu z čištění, jde to překvapivě snadno.
