In Comanchería, you must make key decisions as you lead your people in an epic conquest of the Southern Plains. You have to carefully balance building your culture against the relentless pressure of an increasingly hostile colonial opponent.

Using game mechanics from Navajo Wars, Joel Toppen challenges you to conquer and dominate the southern plains of North America. But it won't be easy! Aggressive northern tribes like the Osage, Pawnee, Cheyenne, and Arapaho stand in your way. The colony of New Mexico in the west has expansionist ambitions. To the south lies Mexico and its new colony of Texas. And in the east lies the greatest threat of all – the United States of America.

Facing overwhelming colonial powers, you must use your mobility and tactical prowess to conquer and hold your empire against a constant wave of enemy incursions. Throughout the game, you will witness historical events – the opening of the Santa Fe Trail, the Indian Removal Act, the founding of the Republic of Texas, or the outbreak of the American Civil War – all from the perspective of the Lords of the Southern Plains!
