Open steel rings made of galvanized wire with a 1.6 mm gauge, designed for crafting chainmail armor and accessories (coifs, gloves, etc.). The galvanized finish makes the final product more corrosion-resistant. The inner diameter of the ring is 8 mm. The rings are cut, not pinched (which prevents them from coming undone easily).
The price is for 1 kg of rings, which equals approximately 1750-1850 rings. For example, you will need 2.5-3.5 kg of rings for a chainmail coif.

These rings are great, no doubt about it. However, the vast majority aren't even remotely open; the ends are way too close together. You have to open every single ring one by one before you can start weaving, which roughly doubles the time it takes to build your chainmail. The upside is the price, which is very attractive, even for galvanized steel. Because they aren't pre-opened, I'm giving them 4 stars.
Kroužky to jsou parádní, to ano. Ale naprostá většina není ani zdaleka otevřena, konce jsou příliž blízko sebe, takže před zapletením do pletiva musíte každý kroužek, pěkně kus po kusu nejprve otevřít, což prodlužuje čas pletení zhruba o dvojnásobek. Výhodou je cena, která je velmi příjemná, i dkyž se jedná o pozink. Kvůli té neotevřenosti dávám ****.
I recommend buying the rings here – making them yourself requires special pliers, wire, and a mandrel. It takes a lot of time and is a lot of hard work.
Doporučuji koupit kroužky zde - na výrobu kroužků potřebujete speciální kleště, drát a pérko. Zabere to spoustu času a je s tím hodně práce.
