Description
Call of Cthulhu is a horror role-playing game inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. The game takes place in a world constantly threatened by entities existing on the edge of fear and reality—beings that once ruled the world and, after eons of slumber, seek to rule again. The heroes of these stories, uncovering the hidden truth about these monsters, are often driven to the brink of madness by their inhumanity and the defiance of reality's laws. That is, if they aren't lucky enough to die first.
Call of Cthulhu has won numerous awards and accolades, including being named the best gothic/horror RPG of all time by Gaming Report.com in 2003.
The book is in English, contains 320 pages, and is beautifully illustrated.

Rules for the cult RPG based on Lovecraftian horror. The rules are clear and well-organized, though the design feels dated. I'm already looking forward to the new 7th edition.
