Call of Cthulhu is a card game that pulls you into the world of H.P. Lovecraft's strange horrors. You play against each other, either as a detective uncovering the secrets of the Ancient Ones and fighting evil, or as the monsters spreading chaos. If you love Lovecraft and horror, you shouldn't miss this game.

This core set contains over 150 cards divided into seven factions. These represent cults worshipping ancient dark gods, as well as the "good guys" trying to stop them from entering our world. A player's deck consists of a combination of any two factions, giving you plenty of variety.

Players take turns playing increasingly powerful monsters or investigators to battle their opponents in various stories. Besides characters, you also have access to spell, location, and item cards that help you in and out of combat.
