imago at festivals 2026: Fewer products, more experiences, and the legendary Dice Menu

At this year's festivals, we're saying goodbye to massive sales counters and focusing much more on our community, experiences, and supporting local events. Read on to see how our brand-new Dice Menu stole the show at the recent Comic-Con and where we'll be bringing fresh pieces from our workshop this year.

If you've been following us for a while, you know that imago isn't just an ordinary e-shop. First and foremost, we are huge fans, geeks, gamers, and cosplayers. And because the community means everything to us, we decided to approach our festival and con presence completely differently in 2026. This year, our season is all about meeting up and building atmosphere. We don't want to break sales records; we just want to be where the action is.

Festival activities and the Dice Menu at Comic-Con

A great example of this new direction was the recent Comic-Con. If you stopped by, you know you weren't met with a standard sales counter that keeps us apart. Instead, we introduced our first set of unique activities. We brought along exclusive company merch, carefully selected collectibles, and a contest for a cool prize. We didn't want to be just another shopping stop, but a place where we could meet, chat, and soak up that authentic festival vibe together.

The absolute highlight of our booth was the unique Dice Menu, which no true board game or RPG fan could resist. From our special menu, you could order an exciting Mystery set or simply pick up some awesome gaming dice exactly to your taste. And for lovers of total chaos and surprises, we served up a generous portion – 100 grams of completely random dice. It was a blast!

By signing up for our newsletter, you could also take home an original paper Dice tower. If you didn't manage to grab one, don't worry! You'll definitely run into it at many other places where we'll bring it along as a little gift.

Supporting those who build our scene

We want you to know that you'll find not only a wide assortment with us, but above all understanding and partners you can rely on. That's why we actively collaborate with many smaller and larger festivals across the country. We provide prizes for contests so you have something to fight for at events, and we help with promotion through our public Calendar of recommended events, which you can find on our imago website.

We aren't resting on our laurels, either! We are constantly experimenting and looking for the ideal way to create the most engaging experience for every one of our fans. That's why our activities and product offerings at events will change and sometimes adapt to specific occasions.

We'll still gear you up: A stop at Con Morhen

This new concept doesn't mean we've given up on sales entirely. There are simply events where you can't do without proper gear. A typical example is the fantastic Con Morhen in Roudnice nad Labem, where we will proudly bring a pile of items straight from our workshop. We love being able to help you get a new outfit on the spot if you arrive without a costume. Because let's be honest – with the right gear or accessory, you'll enjoy the atmosphere of a Witcher con on a whole new level.
