Andromeda transports players into the future, long after humanity has gone extinct. New races from our galaxy and the deep reaches of space have taken its place. The Galactic Council of Elders maintains a fragile peace between ambitious alien species. Each race strives to discover new technologies to gain dominion over the universe.

One day, a massive, damaged spaceship with "Andromeda" written on its hull is discovered. The Galactic Council tasks a research team composed of scientists from various races to investigate. They board the unknown vessel together, yet each has their own hidden agenda and goals…

The board game Andromeda offers an intriguing action-selection mechanic where one player rolls the dice and divides them into two groups, while another player decides which group is assigned to which action.
