If you want a tip, you can extend the lifespan of this spoon by coating it in lard (preferably a high-quality one) as soon as you get it. Let the wood soak up the grease, wipe off the excess with a clean cloth, and let it sit for a while. It won't affect the taste of your food, it extends the spoon's life, and you can do this with any wooden kitchenware.

Pokud můžu poradit, životnost této lžíce zvětšíte tím, že když ji dostanete, tak si ji namažte celou sádlem (nejlépe nějakým kvalitnějším). Lžíce nasaje mastnotu, sádlo setřete čistým hadrem a nechte pak ještě chvilku tak. Nezkazí vám to chuť jídla, prodlouží životnost a jde to dělat s jakýmkoliv dřevěným nádobím.

Eating with wood feels quite different from metal, it took some getting used to at first. The spoon itself is really nice and a total bargain = 5 stars.

A well-crafted spoon, though a bit fragile, so handle it with care. Definitely don't throw books, plates, or anything like that on it. Also, wash it thoroughly immediately after use (water and grass will do) to extend its lifespan. Otherwise, it's great to eat with, and it's certainly something special to eat with something non-metallic. I rate it ****

Kvalitně zpracovaná lžíce, akorát trošku křehká, takže na ní dávejte pozor. Rozhodně na ní neházejte knihy talíře a tak. Také ji okamžitě po použití důkladně omyjte (stačí voda a tráva), prodloužíte tím její životnost. Jinak se s ní jí dobře a samozřejmě je to něco zvláštního jíst něčím nekovovým. Hodnotím ****

It is made of wood after all, so the more soup you eat, the more it shows. But who cares, the price is great, so no problem at all :D

Přeci jen je ze dřeva, takže čím víc polévek člověk sní, tém víc je to na ni znát. Ale co na tom, cena je příznivá, takže žádný problém :D
