Wadrhun

In their quest to strengthen their position and secure their Spires, the Spirean Exiles created many genetically modified servants for various roles. Perhaps their greatest and most complex success is the W'adrhŭn. Originally, they created only four, two fertile pairs. However, during the Dweghom military campaigns, the Spires were forced to deploy this project into battle—a project that filled them with distrust and concern due to the unpredictable maturity and abilities of these "servants." And their fears were justified.

Although only one of the original four survived, this progenitor W'adrhŭn became the foundation for all of today's tribes and clans. He led all surviving children and descendants into the wastelands and the Claustrine Mountains, where they learned to survive. Wild, bred not just for combat but for war itself—adaptable and tough, with an innate drive to survive and conquer. Naturally bonded to wild beasts, they are genetically engineered to survive and digest almost anything.

It is no wonder that the W'adrhŭn are considered barbarians and beasts. But it is also no wonder that they survived in conditions that would have long since crushed or enslaved everyone else. The W'adrhŭn are now unbreakable, right down to their core.
