Tailor Workshop
If you ever wander into our tailor workshop, you'll find a place filled with good vibes and a friendly atmosphere. Satisfaction radiates from everything around, spreading through the room. Our two seamstresses love what they do, and they do it with genuine care and joy.
In our workshop, we pride ourselves on quality sewing based on precisely crafted patterns to ensure the clothing fits perfectly. We basically don't have any returns. Occasionally, we get feedback from customers who love wearing our garments and suggest improvements; in such cases, we strive to refine our patterns and add new features.
We select high-quality materials and guarantee their long durability. We sew only from 100% pure materials—using cotton and linen. For some products, we even source our own organic cotton from a Czech manufacturer.
They enjoy coming up with their own models as much as sewing custom orders. Customers often send them pictures of the costumes they dream of. Our seamstresses then design the patterns to conjure up the ordered garment exactly according to the customer's vision.
Our Seamstresses
Adéla Čechová
Adéla is a trained tailor. Originally, she didn't want to make a living by sewing. She studied at OP Prostějov, where seamstresses usually went straight into mass production after graduation. That work was purely industrial, where each seamstress focused only on a narrow scope of work—like sewing one sleeve after another for an entire shift. Adéla wanted to do something more creative. After school, she sewed sportswear, where the work and the range of products were a bit more varied. Eventually, she found her place in the Ostrava Puppet Theatre, where she sewed costumes and puppets.
Now she sews for our fantasy workshop. She describes the work here as “amazing.” She loves that she can finally do what she wanted within her craft: design clothing models, draw her own sketches, create patterns, and then bring everything to life. She originally thought she wouldn't make a living by sewing because it was monotonous work. However, she has been in the field for 12 years now, has gathered a wealth of experience, and most importantly, has found creative processes that she enjoys. She found a way to combine skilled craftsmanship with creativity. So, she sews fantastic costumes and hoodies for you with love.
Radka Doležalová Hrabovská
Radka joined the team as our second seamstress in the autumn of 2017. And she loves the work. She is a trained tailor. Radka also enjoys the job content because she works on products from start to finish and plans all phases of production.
Sewing has always been not just her job, but also her hobby. It interested her so much that she pursued it in her free time. She started attending a folk conservatory, where she studied clothing design. Currently, she continues at the conservatory with painting. She says that painting opens new horizons in her perception of art and color, which she also applies when designing new costumes and clothing. She sews every piece with joy and a smile on her face.
- Our fantasy workshop produces hand-sewn costumes for enthusiastic LARP and reenactment fans. Our seamstresses have also created outfits for a stylish wedding, regularly sew period costumes for tavern staff in historical pubs, and have several times sewn children's fantasy costumes for themed summer camps.
- Beyond fantasy costumes, they are also successful with new collections of hoodies that combine modern fashion and cuts with fan-favorite fantasy motifs. Thanks to the quality cut, they look incredibly elegant, and the chosen high-quality materials provide a true feeling of comfort to whoever wears them.
