Synthetic Layer Brush (small)

My first synthetic brush. I'm really curious about it, as I've grown to love Citadel products.

I bought this brush for metallic paints and it does the job perfectly.

My girlfriend bought this brush because she wanted one similar to the one in the starter set. She used it twice before finding a brush that suited her better. It's not a bad brush; it paints well. The photo shows a comparison with the Layer Brush on the bottom and the Army Painter Highlighting brush on top.

Tento štětec si přítelkyně pořídila protože chtěla podobný štětec, který je ve start setu. Štětec použila dvakrát než pak našla štětec, který jí vyhovoval lépe. Štětec není špatný, barví se s ním dobře. Na fotce je porovnání Layer Brush dole a Highlighting od Army Painter nahoře.

Looks good, I'm curious how the quality of this synthetic brush compares to a classic one.

My Citadel brushes don't fray. Except for the metallic paints, the tips are a pain to clean.

Citadel štětce se mi netřepí. Kromě metalických barev, tam se špička špatně myje.

After about a month of use and painting around thirty miniatures, the tip has started to fray. I use Green Stuff World gel to reshape the tip, and the brush works perfectly for another whole miniature.
It's great for details and fine work, but nothing beats the Psycho brush from AP.

Po cca měsíci používání a asi třiceti figurkách uz se špička rozjela ještě ze mam od green stuff world gel který tu špičku vytvoří zpátky a zase štětec funguje správně na celou další figurku.
Na detaily a drobnější práci je super ale na psycho od AP nic nemá.
