Scout Bow

I've owned this bow for about a year now, so I decided to write down a few pros and cons.

• beautifully crafted riser
  
• breaks down into 3 parts, which is a huge advantage when transporting the bow
  
• easy assembly
  
• decent range
  
• cut-out for easy arrow placement
  

• doesn't look very LARP-friendly, but you can't expect that from a recurve sports bow.
  
• the string starts to fray after a while, so you'll want to buy a new one eventually
  
  

I would definitely recommend this bow to beginner archers.

Luk už vlastím něco okolo 1 roku, tak sem se rozhodl o něm napsat pár + a -

• moc hezky provedený střed luku
  
• dá se rozložit na 3 díly, což je velká výhoda, když luk převážíte
  
• jednoduché smontování
  
• dostřel je také slušný
  
• výkroj pro snadné zasazení šípu
  

• luk nevypadá moc larpově, ale to od reflexního-sportovního luku nemůžete chtít.
  
• tětiva se po chvíli rozcamrá, takže to chce potom koupit novou
  
  

Určitě bych tento luk doporučil začínajícím lukostřelcům.

A beautifully crafted bow that feels great in the hand. Thanks to the serving, the string holds nocked arrows perfectly. It has an impressive range, remains remarkably accurate even at distances over 150 meters, and its draw weight makes it suitable for both beginners and advanced archers. I've also found that even left-handed shooters have almost no trouble using this right-handed model. Note: I bought this bow about six months ago without registration and it came pre-assembled.

Nádherně zpracovaný luk, příjemně sedí do ruky, tětiva díky omotání drží šípy s končíkem perfektně. Dostřel je značný a i na vzdálenost více než sto padesáti metrů je luk obdivuhodně přesný a díky síle nátahu se hodí jak pro začátečníky, tak pro pokročilejší lukostřelce. A získal jsem zkušenost, že ani leváci nemají takřka žádný problém s úpravou určenou pro praváky. Pozn.:luk kupován před cca půl rokem bez registrace a ve smontovaném stavu.

An excellent starter bow. I've had it for half a year. With standard 75 cm wooden arrows, you can reliably hit a PET bottle from 15-20 meters. For longer distances, you'll need better arrows, otherwise hitting the target is a bit of a lottery. However, better arrows are heavier and require a higher draw weight, which this bow doesn't have. The serving on the string where you nock the arrow tends to unravel, so you need to tighten it occasionally and secure it, for example with wax. I'm happy with the bow and find shooting with it a great way to relax.

Vyborny luk pro zacatek. Mam ho pul roku. S obycejnymi 75 cm drevenymi sipy se da PET lahev spolehlive trefit z 15-20 m. Na vetsi vzdalenosti by to chtelo lepsi sipy, jinak je trefa trochu loterie. Jenze lepsi sipy jsou tezsi, potrebuji vetsi silu natahu a to tento luk nema. Opleteni tetivy v miste zakladani sipu se rozpleta a je ho potreba obcas utahnout a zajistit, treba voskem. S lukem jsem spokojen a prijemne pri strelbe relaxuji.

My bow arrived yesterday and it's fantastic. It looks even better than in the photos. It shoots really well and the draw weight is perfect. A well-deserved 5 stars.

Luk mi včera došel a je fantastický. Vypadá mnohem líp než na fotce. Střílí se z něj velmi dobře a síla nátahu je ideální. Zasloužených 5 hvězdiček.

My bow arrived today. I had to wait a bit longer since it wasn't in stock, but the shooting experience made it worth the wait. The draw weight is just right, I'm satisfied.

Luk mi dnes došel, sice jsem na něj čekal o něco déle, pač nebyl na skladě, ale to čekání mi vynahradila ta střelba z něj. Síla nátahu je tak akorát, jsem spokojen.

I've had it for a month and I'm satisfied so far. The power is just right for a beginner, I have no complaints.

Mam ho mesiac a zatial som snim spokojny. Sila akurat na zaciatok nemam co vytknut.

This bow is awesome! It's absolutely perfect. I've been looking forward to it all week (since it was out of stock), and I ordered an original 75 cm arrow and 30 metal arrowheads for the arrows I make myself. The bow shoots perfectly and I'm really happy with it. Nothing to complain about, five out of five stars, it truly deserves them. :)

Tento luk je super! Je úplně perfektní. Těšil jsem se na něj celý týden (jelikož nebyl skladem), objednal jsem si k němu originál šíp 75 cm a 30 kovových hrotů na své šípy, které si vyrábím sám. Luk střílí perfektně a jsem s ním opravdu moc spokojen. Není mu co vytknout, pět z pěti hvězdiček, právem si je zaslouží. :)

I bought this bow today and it's absolutely amazing. The only minor issue is that the string is wider than the nock on the arrow where you nock it. The string is wrapped with thread at that spot (probably to prevent fraying or to be easier on the fingers), but you can easily file the arrow nock down a bit and it's sorted. The bow looks incredible (a hundred times better than in the photo) and definitely deserves five out of five stars.

Dneska jsem si luk koupil a je úplně úžasný, jediná drobnost, která se mu dá vytknout je, že na tětivě, v místě kde se dávají šípy, je tětiva sirší než zářez na šípu. Na tomto místě je tětiva totiž omotaná provázkem (asi aby se nerozplétala, nebo neřezala tolik do prstů), každopádně šíp se lehce upraví pilníčkem a není co řešit. Luk vypadá úplně úžasně (stokrát líp než na fotce) a rozhodně si zaslouží pět s pěti.
