Scar Mold by Kryolan features 7 different styles of typical wounds and scars that you can fill with liquid latex. We recommend using a mold release spray and translucent powder for easier removal of the dried prosthetic. Do not use with solvent-based liquids.

Instructions: Coat the mold with a very thin layer of release spray and let it dry completely. Lightly dust the template with a small amount of translucent powder. Using a suitable tool like a cotton swab, fine sponge, or brush, cover your chosen scar variant with a thin layer of liquid latex. Let this first layer dry almost completely. Use a hairdryer to speed up the process if needed. Repeat until you are satisfied with the thickness of the scar. Let the scar dry completely. This can take several hours depending on the scar type and the amount of latex used.

Cover the dried scar with plenty of translucent powder and gently lift the edges. Pull the latex piece out of the template and dust the surface with powder to prevent the fine edges from sticking together.
