For me personally, Pathfinder has become a legend. Paizo realized that the path taken by Wizards of the Coast (Hasbro) was a dead end (4th Edition) and modified the D&D 3.5 rules (Open Game License). Of all the D&D clones, this project is one of the most successful. If you like the D20 system, Pathfinder is just for you. All classes, skills, and feats are tweaked, more fun, and actually make sense. Paizo managed to remove most of the flaws of D&D 3.5 and make certain classes more attractive.
Paizo also publishes its own world, Golarion, which is designed for Pathfinder rules (earlier Golarion content was for D&D rules). The Pathfinder rules already have several excellent expansions that allow you to develop your characters in the direction that suits you best.
The book itself contains both the player's handbook and information for the DM (Dungeon Master); it is full of beautiful illustrations and, for me personally, it is very well organized.
Converting characters from D&D 3.5 is not complicated at all and offers new possibilities.
Every fan of the D20 system should give Pathfinder a try, because it is truly addictive.

Pro mě osobně se stal Pathfinder legendou. Paizo pochopilo, že cesta Wizards of the Coast (Hasbro) je slepá (4. edice) a modifikovalo pravidla DND 3.5 (otevřená licence). Ze všech DND klonů, je tento projekt jeden z nejúspěšnějších. Pokud máte rádi D20 systém je Pathfinder právě pro vás. Všechny povolání, skilly a featy jsou upravené, zábavnější a dávají smysl. Paizu se povedlo většinu nešvarů DND 3.5 odstranit a udělat tak některá povolání atraktivnější.
Paizo vydává i vlastní svět Golarion, který vychází pro pravidla Pathfindera (dřívější věci pro Golarion byly pro DND pravidla). Pravidla Pathfindera mají již několik velmi povedených rozšíření, které umožní rozvíjet vaše postavy směrem, který vám vyhovuje.
V knize samotné máte, jak příručku pro hráče, tak informace pro DM (dungeon mastera), je plná krásných ilustrací a pro mě osobně je přehledná.
Konverze postav z DND 3.5 není nijak složitá a nabídne nové možnosti.
Každý fanoušek D20 systému by měl Pathfindera vyzkoušet, protože se jedná o návykovou záležitost.

Pathfinder was the first d20 RPG I ever played, and I jumped straight into GMing it. I definitely recommend it to anyone bored with classic DrD who wants to try something new. The rules might seem intimidating at first, but you'll get the hang of them after your first session.

The book is beautifully illustrated and a great read, though it does require a solid grasp of English.

Pathfinder je první d20 RPG, které jsem kdy hrál a hned jsem se dal do jeho GMkování. Určitě doporučuju všem, které klasické DrD už nudí a chtějí zkusit něco nového. Pravidla se ze začátku můžou zdát zastrašující, ale po prvním sezení vám to začne chodit pod ruku.

Knížka je krásně ilustrovaná a čtivá, akorát teda vyžaduje dobrou znalost angličtiny.

This book is beautiful, well-organized, and packed with stunning illustrations. If Pathfinder has caught your eye, I definitely recommend picking this up, even if you already own a digital copy. Anyone who has encountered Pathfinder will appreciate this book. It’s a massive tome with around 500 pages, yet I still recommend bringing it along to your sessions. It covers everything from character creation to gamemastering.

The book also contains a huge—and I mean huge—number of spells, all clearly described so you know exactly what they do. You’ll also find handy tables for various items, such as weapons, feats, skills, and more. The rules are derived from an older version of D&D, refined by the team that split off from the original D&D creators.

This e-shop is the only store for miles around that actually stocks these rules, which earns them a huge plus from me. Overall, the book makes a great impression, and I don't regret a single cent spent. I’ll definitely be recommending both the shop and the book to others.

Kniha je veľmi pekná, prehľadná s množstvom pekných ilustrácií. Ak Vás hra pathfinder zaujala určite odporúčam zakúpiť a to aj napriek tomu či už vlastníte digitálnu kópiu. Knihu odcenia všetci čo prišli do kontaktu s Pathfinderom. Je to mohutná kniha, ktorá má okolo 500 strán napriek tomu ju odporúčam nosiť so sebou na sedenia. Obsahuje všetko od vytvorenia postavy až po gamemastering.

V knihe sa nachádza tiež veľa ale fakt veľa spelov, ktoré su dobre popísané a je jasné z popisu čo čo robí. Tiež nájdete prehľadné tabuľky ku rôznym typom vecí napr. zbrane, featy, skilly a pod. Pravidlá sú odvodené zo staršej verzie D&D pravidiel, ktoré boli upravené ľuďmi, ktorý sa od D&D teamu odtrhli.

Tento e-shop je jediný obchod široko ďaleko ktorý ma pravidlá v ponuke za čo majú u mňa veľké plus. Celkovo na mňa kniha pôsobí veľmi príjemným dojmom a neľutujem jediný cent, ktorý som zaplatil. Obchod i knihu budem určite odporúčať ďalej.
