Mausritter - Boxed Set

A simple game with handy tables. Most importantly, it has a great atmosphere that makes TTRPGs easy for kids to grasp. But Mausritter is a great game for everyone. The rules are so minimal they barely need explaining, and the mouse characters essentially have no skills.
Because of this simplicity, some questions about mechanics remain, but you can easily solve those with a quick house rule.
Surprisingly, the game's minimalism contrasts with the thorough explanation of various building rules that could have easily fit into a single small table.
The box is fantastic; the adventures and tokens make both game prep and the actual play session a breeze.

Jednoduchá hra, šikovné tabulky. Hlavně ale skvělá atmosféra, která usnadní pochopení TTRPG dětem. Ale pěkná hra je Mausritter pro každého. Minimální pravidla skoro není třeba vysvětlovat, myší postavy jsou v podstatě bez schopností.
V té jednoduchosti pak zůstávají nějaké nevyjasněné otázky po mechanikách, ale to se dá snadno vyřešit momentální domluvou.
S minimalismem hry až překvapivě kontrastuje důkladné vysvětlování různých budovatelských pravidel, které by se vešly někam do jedné malé tabulky.
Krabice je skvělá, dobrodružství, tokeny - to všechno usnadňuje přípravu hry i hru.

I'm really happy with the box. The Mausritter game system caught my attention, especially after seeing the inspiration behind the mouse concept (my kids' favorite book and my favorite comics). I decided to gradually build a world, and this system will be the gateway for my kids into the world of RPGs. I also love the inventory system and the equipment cards, and even the website where you can create them.

Z krabice mam velku radost. Herny system Mausritter ma velmi zaujal a ked som videl z coho vychadzal pri mysacom napade autor. (oblubena knizka mojich deti a moje oblubene komixy) rozhodol som sa, ze postupne vytvorim svet a prave tento system bude branou pre deti do sveta RPG. Paci sa mi aj system inventara a karticky s vybavenima dokonca aj webstranka kde sa daju vytvarat.

I really like the game. The box content is rich and offers an almost perfect foundation for playing. I have dice from other games, so for me, it's a great product. However, some might miss having at least one set in the base box. On the other hand, you can easily order them separately, and the game itself—in a great Czech translation with plenty of aids, character sheets, cards, and adventures, further supported by downloadable content—more than makes up for it.

Hra se moc líbí, obsah krabice je opravdu bohatý a nabízí téměř perfektní základ pro hru. Mám kostky z jiných her, takže za mě je to super produkt. Někomu by však mohla v základní krabici chybět aspoň jedna sada. Na druhou stranu se dají případně bez problému objednat a samotná hra ve skvělém českém překladu se spoustou pomůcek a deníků, kartiček a dobrodružtví, dále podpořená stáhnutelným obsahem to víc než vynahrazuje.
