Description
The Dao sword features a fiberglass core, soft foam padding, and a durable latex coating, with a leather-wrapped hilt. It measures 75 cm in length and weighs approximately 200 grams. This simple yet resilient latex weapon is perfect for LARP events.
Inspired by Eastern swords, the Dao serves as an excellent theatrical prop or a safe weapon for young warriors. We do not recommend using this weapon for traditional full-contact wooden combat, as it may get damaged upon impact with wooden weapons.
To extend the lifespan of the blade, we recommend applying protective gel.

Bought this for a four-year-old warrior, and it's perfect for that purpose. She knows which side to strike with, and the hilt thickness is ideal for small hands (for an adult, it's like waving a wooden spoon). If I were buying it for myself to use at a LARP, perhaps as a backup weapon, I'd probably be more critical, but for this, it's 4 out of 5.
Zakoupeno pro čtyřletou bojovnici a k tomuto účelu dle mého ideální. Pozná, kterou stranou sekat, a tloušťka jílce je ideální pro malé ruce (pro dospělého je to jak mávat vařečkou). Kdybych kupoval pro sebe s představou, že si ho vezmu na larp, třeba jako záložní zbraň, asi bych byl přísnější, ale takhle 4 z 5.
