Katana sleeves are designed primarily for Draft and Prerelease events. They have poor light reflection, which rarely causes issues, but it can be significant for some foils. They handle rough treatment well, though smudges show up easily. You can shuffle them constantly without them splitting.
They are larger than Dragon Shield Matte Clear sleeves, as shown in the attached photo. Some players report fewer splits and bent corners with Katanas compared to Dragon Shields. I wouldn't buy clear sleeves from any other manufacturer. These are premium-grade (as labeled by the manufacturer), and the extra cost is worth it. The general downside of clear sleeves is that if your deck contains double-faced cards, you must use substitute cards. They are perfect for those who love the look of the MTG card back and get tired of standard art or colored sleeves.

Katana jsou obaly určené především pro DRAFT a PRELEASE. Nemají dobrou reflexi světla, což se velice zřídka projeví, ale u některých foilů zásadní. Snesou špatné zacházení, jsou na nich dobře vidět šmouhy, můžete je pořád míchat, nesplitují a můžete je pořád v rukách míchat.
Oproti Dragon Shield Matte Clear jsou větší. To je demonstrováno přiloženou fotografií. Někteří hráči reportují menší split a ohnuté rohy u Katana než Dragon Shield. Nezakupoval bych průhledné obaly od jiného výrobce. Toto jsou prémiové (dle označení výrobcem) a vyšší investice v řádu desítek Kč se vyplatí. Nevýhoda průhledných obalů obecně je, že pokud jsou v sadě double-face cards je nutné použít tzv. substitute card. Jsou vhodné pro ty, kteří mají rádi ilustraci zadní strany MTG, protože je po čase obrázky nebo barvy obalů přejdou.

The best card sleeves out there – the shuffle feel is unbeatable. The only downside is that they’re almost impossible to find, especially the colored matte versions; it’s a real shame they don't produce more. They cost more than standard sleeves, but if you play MTG, Pokémon, or similar games often, I highly recommend them.

Najlepšie obaly na kartové hry - lepší pocit pri miešaní asi ani nie je. Jediná chyba je, že sú takmer nedostupné a to ani nehovorím o farebných matných verziách, naozaj škoda že ich nevyrábajú viac. Cena je vyššia než pri obyčajných obaloch ale ak hrávate často mtg, Pokemon atď. tak vrelo odporúčam.
