You can shape and cut it using a Hot Wire Foam Cutter, or use saws, knives, or hand drills. Always use suitable adhesives for polystyrene, such as Tuft Glue or Basing Glue. Standard PVA glues will not dry on the board.

Warning:
This material may release toxic fumes when heated strongly or sanded. It is important to wear a mask or work in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes. The maximum safe temperature for using extruded XPS foam is 75°C.
