Japanese Genmaicha green tea is a blend of Japanese bancha/sencha and roasted brown rice. It's a favorite for Japanese people to sip on all day long.
The infusion has a light yellow to brownish color and a very specific, delicate aroma and taste reminiscent of roasted nuts.

I buy Genmaicha regularly from various shops and the quality of this one pleasantly surprised me – it's at least on par with most specialty stores.

This Genmaicha offers great value for money. It has a slightly higher rice content than usual, giving it a more pronounced toasted rice character. It also handles quite a few infusions surprisingly well. It tastes excellent cold, too (tested).
Tato Genmaicha je super poměr cena/kvalita. O něco větší podíl rýže než běžně vidím, má tedy o něco větší charakter po pražené rýži. Snese i překvapivě dost nálevů. Výborně chutná také za studena (vyzkoušeno)
