Boosters are perfect if you don't have any figures yet and want to spice up your game. For about 400 CZK, you get 4 random (well-crafted) figures, which is a better deal than buying them individually.

Boostery jsou ideální pro ty, kteří zatím nemají žádnou figurku a chtěli by svou hru nějak oživit. Za cca 400 korun tak dostanete 4 náhodné (pěkně zpracované) figurky, což je výhodnější, než když je kupujete zvlášť.

I've had the Monster Menagerie 3 boosters for a month now.
Their larger size already hinted that they might contain Huge figures, not just the usual Large ones. I bought two Monster Menagerie 3 boosters hoping to pull a rare Storm Giant, and to my delight, I succeeded.

The Storm Giant is arguably one of the largest Huge figures in the Icons of the Realms line. It has a great pose and expression, complete with an impressive giant blue lightning bolt in its hand. I was also pleased to see the paint job wasn't rushed. It's the most valuable rare figure in the Monster Menagerie 3 set.

The second large figure I pulled was a Hill Giant, shown on the left in the attached photo. It's the female version of the Hill Giant from the Storm King's Thunder boosters, though it's less imposing than the male version. I got the variant with a spear, which was quite warped on this particular piece. This is, after all, the second most giant-rich series in the Icons of the Realms line.

The boosters also contained two magma creatures: an orange Magma Mephit (in front of the Storm Giant in the photo) and a Magmin with tiny fiery hair (in front of the Hill Giant). There was also a six-limbed humanoid beetle with a human-sized trident, visible to the right of the larger giant.

The Kuo-toa deserves a mention—a blue-purple aquatic creature with a hook and a pincer weapon that caught my eye with its grinning expression. Compared to the Kuo-toa from Tyranny of Dragons, it's less fish-like and has a more dynamic pose; I'm glad to have both versions.

From the Monster Menagerie 3 boosters, I also got a Goblin Jester (to the left of the Kuo-toa in the photo). It's beautifully detailed, though unfortunately tilted backward—a flaw common to many figures in both older and newer series. Perhaps the most visually obscure piece was the medium-sized Gibbering Mouther aberration with its many mouths (between the two giants), a great addition to my collection.

Overall, I'm happy with the figures I pulled; the paint jobs were decent and the overall sculpts were quite well done.

Boostery Monster Menagerie 3 mám už měsíc.
Již jejich větší velikost naznačovala, že v nich mohou být velké figurky velikosti Huge, a nikoli jenom Large, jak bývá obvyklé. Oba dva boostery Monster Menagerie 3 jsem si pořizoval v naději, že bych mohl z nich získat vzácnou figurku bouřkového giganta, což se mi k mojí radosti vyplnilo.

Bouřkový gigant (Storm Giant) je zřejmě jednou z největších figurek v kategorii Huge z boostrů Icons of the Realms obecně, má hezký postoj i výraz, s impozantním obřím modrým bleskem v ruce, s potěchou jsem také mohl konstatovat, že barvení u něj nebylo odbyto. Jedná se o nejcennější rare figurku v rámci Monster Menagerie 3.

Druhou získanou velkou figurkou byl kopcový obr (Hill Giant), jenž je na připojené fotce nalevo od předešlého. Je to ženská verze kopcového obra nabízeného v boostrech Storm King's Thunder, oproti zmíněné mužské verzi je méně impozantní. Podařilo se mi získat variantu s kopím, které bylo u tohoto exempláře poměrně dost zkroucené. Je to ostatně druhá nejvíce na obry bohatá řada Icons of the Realms.

V boostrech byly také dvě figurky magmatických potvůrek, oranžového Magma Mephita (na fotce před bouřkovým gigantem) a Magmina s drobnými ohnivými vlasy (na fotce před kopcovým gigantem). Dále pak tam byl humanoidní brouk se šesti končetinami a s dvojzubcem lidské velikosti, jenž je na fotce napravo od většího z gigantů.

Pozornost si zaslouží Kuo-toa, modrofialová vodní potvora s hákem a klešťovitou zbraní, která mě zaujala svým rozšklebeným výrazem: Oproti Kuo-toa z Tyranny of Dragons je méně rybovitá a má více dynamický postoj; jsem rád, že mám obě verze.

Z boosterů Monster Menagerie 3 jsem získal také goblina šaška (na fotce nalevo od Kuo-toa), je krásně detailní, bohužel ale nakloněný dozadu, to je nectnost, které byla vlastní více figurkám u starších i následujících sérií. Asi nejvíce vizuálně obskurní byla středně velká figurka aberace Gibbering Mouther s mnoha tlamami (mezi oběma giganty), další obohacení mojí figurkové sbírky.

Celkově jsem byl se získanými figurkami spokojený, barvení bylo ucházející a celkové zpodobnění dosti zdařilé.
