Dice Set - Under the Surface

I bought the Under the Surface dice set as a gift for my girlfriend for my D&D campaign. She was thrilled.
The dice are blue and their transparency is so beautifully crafted that you really feel like they are underwater. The build quality is great; no sharp edges, and the engraved numbers don't interfere with the roll at all.

The Under the Surface dice set fully met my expectations and made my girlfriend very happy. I highly recommend them. :)

Kostky jsou modré a jejich průhlednost je tak krásně udělaná, že opravdu máte pocit jak kdyby ty kostky byli ve vodě pod hladinou. Kvalita zpracování kostek je dobrá, žádná hrana nevyčuhuje ani vyryté čísla nijak nepřekáží při hodu.

Sada kostek Pod hladinou velmi naplnilo moje očekávaní a přítelkyni udělali velkou radost. Mohu jen doporučit. :)

They arrived a bit darker than in the photos, which is a slight shame since I was enchanted by that combination of clear and blue, but it's clear that's hard to control during production. Regardless, they still look great, are beautifully readable, and I hope they bring my players some tough times.

Dorazily o něco tmavší než na fotkách, což je trošku škoda, protože právě ta kombinace průhledné a modré mi učarovala, ale je jasné, že to se při výrobě ovlivnit až tak nedá. Každopádně i tak vypadají moc hezky, jsou krásně čitelné a doufám, že mým hráčům přinesou perné chvíle.

I bought two sets, both are completely different and that's pretty cool. Each die is unique and beautiful, the numbers are clearly visible and easy to read.

As for the weight, they were too heavy to measure with a salt solution, but I didn't notice any skewed trajectory when rolling.

Kupene dva sety, oba su uplne rozdielne and that's pretty cool. Kazda kocka je unikatna a krasna, cisla su vidiet pekne a su citatelne.

Co sa tyka zavazenia tak boli priliz tazke na zmeranie slanym roztokom no nevsimol som si nejaku pokrivenu trajektoriu pri hode.

These dice are easy to read and change color beautifully when you roll them.

Kostky jsou dobře čitelné a při házení se hezky mění barva.

It's been over a year since I bought these dice. Was it worth the price? Definitely yes. The dice have a simple design and easy-to-read numbers. If you're looking for some cheap and nice-looking dice, these are the ones for you.

Už uplynul niečo vyše rok od doby keď som si tieto kocky kúpil. Či sa to oplatilo za tú cenu? Jednoznačne áno. Kocky majú jednoduchý dizajn, ľahko čitateľné čísla. Ak hľadáte nejaké lacné a pekné kocky, tak tieto sú tie pravé.

Classic dice made from lightweight material. They feature a beautiful underwater look that shifts depending on the light and angle thanks to their translucency. They roll well and are great to play with.

Klasické hrací kostky, které jsou z lehkého materiálu. Má krásné podvodní vzhled, který se mění pod určitým světlem a úhlem (světlost a díky průsvitnosti). Hází a hraje se s nimi dobře.

The dice themselves are very nice. The ocean theme is clearly visible. However, it probably depends a lot on how the individual dice are made – in my set, for example, the d% and d10 are a deep dark blue (semi-transparent), while the d6 and d4 are almost completely transparent, and the gold lettering on a clear background really hurts readability (you can see it especially on the d4 in the photo).

The craftsmanship is very good, though; no bubbles on any of the dice. I don't want to be unfair or misunderstood, they are beautiful! I can't stop staring at my d6 and d8... I just wish the others in the set had turned out the same way.. :)

Kocky ako také sú veľmi pekné. Téma oceánu je zreteľne viditeľná. Avšak asi dosť závisí na tom, ako sa jednotlivé kocky vyrobia - v mojej sade je napr. d% a d10 sýtej tmavomodrej (polopriehľadnej) farby, pričom d6 a d4 sú takmer čisto priehľadné, a zlaté písmo na čírom podklade čitateľnosti dosť škodí (na fotke vidno najmä na d4).

Spracovanie je ale veľmi dobré, žiadne bublinky ani na jednej z kociek. Aby som im nekrivdil a aby ste ma nebrali zle, sú krásne! Na svoje d6 a d8 sa neviem vynadívať... prial by som si ale, keby sa tak boli vydarili aj ostatné zo sady.. :)

They have a beautiful blue color. I love how every single die is slightly different.

Mají nádhernou modrou barvu. Líbí se mi, jak je každá z kostek trochu jiná.

If you're looking for affordable dice that still look great, these are for you. They are perfectly readable, and thanks to the color-mixing process, every die is unique. Plus, they're transparent, so you can easily check for any air bubbles that might cause imbalance.
At this price, they're a must-have, even if just as a backup set.

Pokud hledáte levné kostky, se kterými uděláte parádu, tak tyhle jsou pro vás. Perfektně čitelné, díky způsobu míchání barev je každá kostka unikátní a navíc jsou průhledné, takže si můžete snadno ověřit, že v nich nejsou bubliny způsobující nevyváženost.
Za tu cenu jasná koupě, i kdyby jen jako záložní sadu.
