Craftworlds - Warhammer 40000

The Craftworlds faction represents the sprawling Aeldari (or Asuryani) race, one of the oldest surviving civilizations in the universe. At its peak, their civilization ruled the known galaxy, but a fall caused by decadence and moral decay followed. Its end birthed the Chaos god Slaanesh.

Due to the fall of their empire and the birth of Slaanesh, most of this alien race perished. A portion of the survivors fled on continent-sized space vessels - Craftworlds. Others found other ways.

In war and combat, the Aeldari rely on precision, speed, and the immense psychic potential of their race. Every life is precious, and their numbers are small compared to other races. Yet, the Aeldari remain confident in their racial superiority.
Every Aeldari is trained and ready to fight in war as a Guardian or pilot one of their technologically advanced machines - the Wave Serpent transport, the Fire Prism and Night Spinner assault tanks, elusive jetbikes like Windriders, or the Vyper.
Many dedicate themselves to one of the aspects of their fallen god of war, fulfilling specific roles. The steadfast Dire Avengers, devastating Fire Dragons, winged Swooping Hawks, and other aspect warriors fully commit to war for the good of their race.
In death, a soul can continue to serve its Craftworld by being bound into a Wraithguard, Wraithlord, or Wraithknight construct. These sometimes monumental "robots" help the Aeldari partially offset their disadvantage in numbers.
