High-quality cotton canvas, perfect for crafting historical costumes, especially lightweight summer shirts, blouses, or dresses. Available in several colors. The cotton fabric by the meter is 150 cm wide. You can only order in whole meters (1 piece = 1 meter).
The fabric is pre-shrunk. We recommend washing at a maximum of 60°C and do not tumble dry!

The black cotton is thinner and slightly translucent. On the other hand, it's easy to work with, lightweight, and supple. It would be perfect for breathable shirts, dresses, and similar items. Paradoxically, if you buy this fabric in the natural color, it's quite stiff. Perhaps it's due to different processing by the supplier. Otherwise, I'm satisfied. I can always sew whatever I need from this cotton :)
Černá bavlna je tenší, trochu prosvítá. Zato se s ní dobře pracuje, je lehoučká, poddajná. Na nějaké prodyšné košilky, šaty apod., to by šlo. Paradoxně koupíte-li si přírodní barvu tohoto plátna, je látka naopak poměrně tvrdá. Možná je to rozdílným zpracováním ze strany dodavatele. Jinak jsem ale jinak spokojená. Vždy z této bavlny dokážu ušít, co potřebuji :)
Maybe not a typical use case, but I needed something to cover part of my D&D map – impenetrable darkness. The fabric seems solid, it doesn't tear, and it's lightweight, almost translucent. The edges aren't finished, of course, so they fray.
Asi ne typicke vyuziti, ale potreboval jsem neco pro zakryti casti mapy v DnD - neprostupna temnota. Latka se zda solidni, netrha se a je lehka, akoro prusvitna. Okraje samozrejme nejsou zpracovany a tedy se paraji
Out of curiosity, I bought a few meters, and unfortunately, even the brown one is more translucent than I expected. Since I intend to use the fabric for durable patterns for our costume collection and as a lining for orc gear, it doesn't bother me that much, but it might complicate things for people who want to make shirts.
Imago response: We are currently sourcing the fabric from a different supplier with a higher GSM. The fabric is sturdier and also less translucent.
Ze zvedavosti jsem par metru koupil, i hneda je bohuzel prusvitnejsi nez jsem cekal. Vzhledem k tomu, ze z latky hodlam delat odolne strihy do fundusu a podsivku na skreti veci, tak mi to az tak nevadi, ale lidem, kteri chteji kosile by to mohlo zkomplikovat praci.
Reakce imago : Aktuálně odebíráme látku od jiného dodavatele s vyšší gramáží. Látka je pevnější a také méně průhledná.
