Codenames is currently the best party game according to the biggest gaming portal, BoardGameGeek. It was created by Czech game designer Vláďa Chvátil.

In Codenames, two teams of players act as rival spy networks. One player from each team is the Spymaster, who gives clues to help their teammates identify their secret agents. Only the Spymasters know the agents' codenames.

During their turn, the Spymaster gives a one-word clue followed by a number, e.g., "car 4". The team then tries to guess the correct cards up to that number (e.g., "wheel", "electric", "holiday", and "price").
Choosing a wrong card ends the turn. If a team picks the "assassin" card, they lose immediately.
If no team hits the assassin, the first team to uncover all their agents wins.

Card sleeves required: 45 x 68 mm (200 pcs), 70 x 70 mm (40 pcs), 50 x 75 mm (25 pcs).
