Ako veterán V. légie som už tejto farby minul litre. Je pravda, že kvalita v priebehu rokov kolísa, ale zrovna poslednou dobou je to viac než v poriadku. Oporúča 9 z 10 členov Ebenového kešigu!

A nice white paint from Citadel. I personally use it as my primary white. Used on a Stormtrooper in the photo.

Pekna biela farba od firmy Citadel. Osobne ju pouzivam ako primarnu bielu. Na fotke pouzita na Stormtroopera.

Bright white layer paint. Great coverage, definitely works as a base coat too. Or use it for edge highlighting.

A classic white, just a bit thinner than Ceramite White. I recommend it because it's great to work with; the photo shows a second layer over a black base.

Klasická bílá, jen o něco řidší než Ceramite White. Doporučuji, jelikož se s barvou výborně pracuje, na fotce vidíte druhou vrstvu na černém základu.

The paint is good, though it has its flaws; it tends to form lumps quite often, so you need to mix it thoroughly.

Citadel paints are undoubtedly high-quality hobby paints. Personally, I prefer Vallejo, but that's just because of the dropper bottle. When it comes to the color range, coverage, durability, and so on, both brands are comparable. However, I feel like Citadel paints lead to unnecessary waste of precious paint (though that might just be my own clumsiness). The paint itself is top-notch.

As for the negatives mentioned in some reviews, I can't agree with them yet. I've used the paint on subsequent projects, and it still covers beautifully without clumping, so I'm satisfied so far.

Barvy citadel jsou bez debat velmi kvalitní modelářské barvy. Osobně více preferuji značku Vallejo ale to opravdu jen na základě kapátka. Co se týče barevného spektra, krytí, odolnosti barev etc, v tomto jsou obě srovnatelné. Přijde mi však, že u barev Citadel dochází ke zbytečným ztrátám drahocenné barvy (ale možná je to jen mou nešikovností). Ale vlastní barva je velmi kvalitní.

Co se týče zmíněných negativ v některých recenzích, tak zatím s nimi souhlasit nemůžu. Barvu jsem použil s odstupem i na další projekty a zatím mi krásně kryje a nehrudkovatí, takže za mě zatím spokojenoust.

The general consensus in the Warhammer community is to avoid Citadel's white and black paints. Looking back, I have to agree. Both my friend and I have had issues with the paint clumping right from the start (White Scar is notorious for this, and it also has poor coverage, though that's a common issue with white pigment and other brands might not be any better). Go for the competition instead (Army Painter, Vallejo).

Obecný konsenzus warhammer komunity je, že bílé a černé barvy od Citadelu nekupovat. Zpětně musím říct, že s tím docela souhlasím. Mi, stejně jako mému kamarádovi, barva už od nákupu hrudkovatí (White Scar je tím vyloženě proslavená, navíc dost špatně kryje (což je ovšem věc problému bílého pigmentu a u konkurence nemusí být kryvost lepší). Sáhněte spíš ke konkurenci (Army Painter, Vallejo).
