Citadel could definitely improve their paint pots, but the paint quality itself is top-notch.

The paint is great, it sticks to the miniature perfectly and works well both with and without a white primer.

Red paint from GW / Citadel. Mephiston Red is a very nice and vibrant shade of red.

Great red paint for leather items. Just like with all Citadel paints, I recommend adding a mixing ball to get a better consistency when stirring. I used it for the purity seal on a Space Marine's leg and for his eyes (see photo).

Skvělá rudá barva na kožené věci. Jen při rozmíchávání barvy doporučuju, tak jako u všech Citadel barev vložit kuličku na lepší promíchání. Použito na postavě mariňáka na pečeť na noze a jeho oči (viz.foto).

Citadel paints are undeniably high-quality hobby paints. Personally, I prefer Vallejo, but that's really just because of the dropper bottle. When it comes to the color spectrum, coverage, durability, and so on, both are comparable. However, I feel like Citadel paints lead to unnecessary waste of precious paint (though that might just be my own clumsiness). But the paint itself is top-notch.

Barvy citadel jsou bez debat velmi kvalitní modelářské barvy. Osobně více preferuji značku Vallejo, ale to opravdu jen na základě kapátka. Co se týče barevného spektra, krytí, odolnosti barev etc, v tomto jsou obě srovnatelné. Přijde mi však, že u barev Citadel dochází ke zbytečným ztrátám drahocenné barvy (ale možná je to jen mou nešikovností). Ale vlastní barva je velmi kvalitní.

A great, vibrant red primer. It provides excellent coverage and works perfectly with an airbrush.

This is a beautifully rich base red. If you're skilled, you can mix it with glaze and white to create lighter and darker layering tones, but I'm lazy, so I just picked up the matching Citadel tones for this color and I'm completely satisfied.
