They were worn not only by musketeers and foot soldiers but also by peasants and monks. This children's tabard is a staple of any historical costume that you can customize to your heart's content.

This kids' tabard is made of 100% cotton as a loose tunic, open at the sides. Just pull it over the head, tie the strings—which offer multiple lacing options—and your little adventurer is ready for a carnival, a battle, or just an ice cream run. The tabard is identical on the front and back, so if it gets a bit messy from that ice cream, just flip it around. Our seamstresses really thought of everything.
