Classic BattleTech is back and finally has great miniatures! If you want to play something beyond the basic starter box, you’ve probably already grabbed the Clan Invasion box (I haven't, but that’s because I don’t want a Timber Wolf Mech).

If you like the ‘historical’ Clan Invasion era of the BattleTech universe, this box of five Mechs is a logical purchase. The Hellbringer, MadDog, and Gargoyle are practically symbols of this era. Especially the battles between Inner Sphere heroes and the warriors of Clan Jade Falcon and Smoke Jaguar.

I’ve had the models from this box since summer, but only #jadeturkeymonth finally forced me to get down to painting #jadefalcon #rhogalaxy properly. The black primer took to the models reasonably well; the castings aren't perfectly clean and it’s not always easy to remove the flaws, but given the price and possibilities, it’s acceptable.

Klasický Battletech se vrátil a konečně má hezké figurky! Pokud chcete hrát i něco jiného než prostou hru ze základní krabice, pravděpodobně jste už sáhli po Clan Invasion boxu (já teda ne, ale to proto, že nechci Timber Wolf Mecha).

Pokud se vám ‘historická’ éra Invaze Klanů v rámci vesmíru BattleTech líbí, je tahle krabička s pěti Mechy dosti logický nákup. Hellbringer, MadDog a Gargoyle jsou prakticky symbolem této éry. Zejména bojů hrdinů Inner Sphere s bojovníky klanu Jade Falcon a Smoke Jaguar.

Modely v téhle krabičce mám od léta, ale teprve #jadeturkeymonth mě donutil konečně se poctivě pustit do barvení #jadefalcon #rhogalaxy. Černý základ na modely chytl obstojně, výlisky nejsou úplně čisté a není vždy snadné nedostatky odstranit, ale v rámci možností a ceny je ti snesitelné.
